Day 1 – 1st November – Marrakech

Marhaba! Welcome to the captivating ochre city, Marrakech, the still very much alive, and modern antique-like city. Its one-thousand-year-old walls encapsulate a fusion of lively souks, craftsmen, red sandstone humble houses, Mosques, Museums, narrow winding alleyways, gardens and the vibrant famous Jemaa el fna square.
Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting, where you’ll meet your Tour leader and get an overview of the journey ahead. In the evening, celebrate the start of your trip with a traditional Moroccan dinner, enjoying classic dishes like aromatic tagine and flavorful couscous. This first taste of Morocco’s rich culture sets the perfect tone for the days to come.

Day 2 – 2nd November – Marrakech

Wake up to the charm of Marrakech and begin your day with a guided tour that delves into the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. Wander through the bustling medina, where vibrant souks and centuries-old architecture create an unforgettable scene. Then, step into the elegance of Palais Bahia, a masterpiece of Moroccan design featuring stunning courtyards, intricate tile work, and lush gardens.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the beauty of the Majorelle Garden, a botanical oasis filled with exotic plants, vivid blue structures, and a sense of timeless tranquillity. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please perhaps sipping mint tea at a stylish café or simply soaking up the atmosphere of this enchanting city.

Day 3 – 3rd November – Ait Benhaddou

Leaving behind the vibrant streets of Marrakech, you’ll journey through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, where dramatic landscapes unfold along the way. Arriving in Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO listed ksar, you’ll step into the rich history of this ancient, fortified village with a leader-led walk, exploring its sun-baked mudbrick architecture and winding alleys that whisper tales of traders and travellers from centuries past.
After immersing yourself in the magic of this timeless site, you’ll sit down for a nourishing lunch at Tawesna, a community-run teahouse offering delicious local flavours made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. This experience not only provides a taste of authentic amazing cuisine but also supports local women who run the project.

Day 4 – 4th November – Sahara Desert

Leaving Ait Benhaddou behind, the journey continues through breathtaking desert landscapes toward the vast dunes of Merzouga. Along the way, you’ll stop at Khemliya Village, where the rhythms of traditional Gnawa music offer a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region.
After enjoying the warm hospitality of the locals, you’ll travel toward Merzouga, where endless golden dunes stretch across the horizon. Here, a camel ride awaits, taking you on a peaceful trek through the sands, following the paths of ancient desert travellers. As the sun sets in shades of orange and purple, you’ll arrive at your desert camp. In the evening, a delicious dinner will be served in a cozy indoor setting, featuring local flavors and traditional dishes. The night continues with storytelling and music, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Sahara. Please note that the driving time to the desert is 6 hours.

Day 5 – 5th November – Dades

Leaving the golden dunes of Merzouga behind, the journey takes you through ever-changing landscapes toward Dades. Along the way, you’ll stop at Todra Gorge a massive trench that rises over 250 m to form one of the most dramatic and spectacular natural sights in Morocco. Explore the towering limestone stacks on a short walk through the sheer cliffs.
Next, continue your journey to the breathtaking Dades Valley, where nature’s artistry is on full display. Towering rock formations, shaped over centuries by the powerful forces of wind and weather, rise dramatically against the backdrop of lush green valleys. This peaceful setting will be your home for the night, offering a tranquil retreat amidst Morocco’s stunning landscapes.

Day 6 – 6th November – Ouarzazate

Wake up to the fresh mountain air of the Dades Valley, ready to explore its breathtaking landscapes on a guided hike. The rugged terrain, shaped by time and nature, offers a stunning contrast of deep gorges and lush greenery, making it a perfect start to the day.
After the hike, continue your journey toward Skoura, an oasis filled with palm groves and hidden treasures. Here, a visit to the Amridhil Kasbah provides a glimpse into Morocco’s rich history, with its well-preserved architecture and fascinating stories of the past. As the afternoon unfolds, the road leads to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and a city known for its cinematic landscapes. With the rest of the day free, you can choose to explore the town, or relax at your accommodation.

Day 7 – 7th November – Imlil

Departing from Ouarzazate, the journey takes you through scenic landscapes toward the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll stop in the charming town of Tahanaout, for a cooikng class led by an expert chef. Under his expert guidance, you’ll discover the secrets behind traditional dishes, blending rich spices and fresh local ingredients to create an unforgettable meal. After enjoying the fruits of your labour, continue your journey into the mountains, passing through scenic valleys and charming Berber villages. Upon arrival in Imlil, settle into the peaceful surroundings and enjoy a home-cooked dinner, where warm hospitality and authentic local flavours make for a perfect evening.

Day 8 – 8th November – Essaouira

Start your day with a refreshing guided hike in Imlil, surrounded by stunning mountain views and peaceful trails. After exploring the beautiful scenery, head toward Essaouira, passing through changing landscapes along the way.
When you arrive, join your leader for an orientation walk to get familiar with the town. Stroll through the lively medina, discover hidden alleyways, and soak up the coastal charm of Essaouira.

Day 9 – 9th November – Essaouira

After breakfast, mmbark on guided walking tour through its historic medina. Wander through lively streets lined with whitewashed buildings, vibrant market stalls, and artisan workshops, soaking up the relaxed atmosphere and rich cultural heritage.
As midday approaches, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch, sampling the fresh flavours of the Atlantic at a local restaurant. The afternoon is yours to explore at a leisurely pace perhaps strolling along the beach or watching the local fishermen at work. In the evening, settle in for another peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by Essaouira’s timeless beauty.

Day 10 – 10th November – Marrakech

Departing Essaouira, you’ll make your way back to the lively streets of Marrakech, where the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Whether you choose to wander through the colourful souks, visit a tranquil garden, shopping, or simply relax in a rooftop café, the city offers endless ways to soak in its vibrant atmosphere.
As the evening arrives, gather for a special farewell dinner, where you can reflect on the incredible experiences of the trip while enjoying a delicious Moroccan feast. A perfect way to conclude your Moroccan adventure.
